Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Derek Tran (D-CA) helped introduce the bipartisan PBM Reform Act with Representatives Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA), and Debbie Dingell (D-MI). The bill lowers prescription drug prices for working families and protects patients and community pharmacies by requiring additional transparency and accountability from pharmacy benefit managers (PBM).

Washington, DC – Representative Derek Tran joined Representatives Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Maggie Goodlander (NH-02) calling on House leadership to fully fund a critical program that combats drug trafficking in high-risk areas. The High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program provides essential coordination assistance to federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to intercept drug trafficking operations.

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Derek Tran (CA-45) voted against the Republican-led “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which strips health care away from 17 million Americans and threatens over 40 million Americans’ SNAP benefits. The legislation represents the largest cut to health care in American history.

The President referred to Lam as “the Highly Respected General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam” on his Truth Social account. Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Derek Tran (CA-45) joined members of the California Congressional Delegation in cosponsoring a Congressional Resolution to express concern regarding President Trump’s deployment of federal troops to recent demonstrations in Los Angeles without coordinating with state and local officials. The resolution reaffirms support for state and local law enforcement and the people’s First Amendment right to peaceful protest.
