Representative Derek Tran Delivers Over $3 Million in Public Safety Funding for Orange County

Orange County, CA – Representative Derek Tran (CA-45) presented over $3 million in federal funding he secured to improve local fire stations, school traffic signals, and emergency operations in Brea, Los Alamitos, and Fountain Valley.  

 

The Fountain Valley Fire Department will receive $2 million to expand Fire Station 1 to house more ambulances, hire more firefighters, and provide additional training opportunities.

Representative Derek Tran Secures $1 Million for Garden Grove Firefighters

Garden Grove, CA – Congressman Derek Tran (CA-45) presented the City of Garden Grove with $1 million in federal funding he secured to update Garden Grove Fire Station 84. The station’s firefighters were one of the first responding teams to the hazmat incident at GKN Aerospace. These funds will support structural improvements to the Fire Station and additional equipment to better respond to future emergencies.
