Orange County, CA – U.S. Representative Derek Tran (CA-45) returned to California’s 45th district to visit local hospitals and address medical workers’ concerns about the community-level impacts of funding cuts to Medicaid and the broader health care system.

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Derek Tran (CA-45) introduced a Congressional Resolution in commemoration of the sacrifices and contributions of military personnel who fought to defend South Vietnam from North Vietnamese communist forces. The resolution also recognizes June 19th, 2025, as Veterans of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Day, or Ngày Quân Lực in Vietnamese, honoring Veterans of the former Republic of Vietnam.
