Submit Your Testimonial – Mass Firing of Veteran Federal Civilian Service Employees

As of February 23, 2025, it has been reported that nearly 6,000 veterans have been terminated from their federal civilian service jobs as a result of mass firings executed by the Trump Administration across many agencies. More than thirty percent of the federal government is powered by veterans who bring their expertise and passion for public service to provide critical assistance to American families and service members.

U.S. Representative Derek Tran – an Army veteran and former employment attorney – recently introduced the Protect Veteran Jobs Act, legislation to reinstate veterans who have been dismissed or removed without cause from their civilian service jobs since President Trump took office on January 20, 2025. The bill would also require federal agencies to report to Congress to provide justifications for the dismissal of veterans.

If you are a veteran who has been affected by these indiscriminate terminations, Congressman Tran invites you to share your testimonial with him. Your testimonial and/or personally identifiable information will only be used with your consent to advocate on behalf of all veterans who have been wrongfully dismissed from their jobs.

If you’d like to submit a testimonial to support a reversal of these terminations, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, please call my office (202) 225-2415.

If you are someone who was impacted by the mass firings executed by the Trump Administration but are not a veteran, we still want to hear from you. Please click on this link which will take you to a form on the House Minority Leader's website where you can give your testimonial.
