Tours and Tickets

The Office of Congressman Derek Tran is excited to offer you an opportunity to tour some of the most interesting places in Washington, DC.
All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.
Obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult. It is very important to follow the below guidelines for your application to be considered.
The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:
- White House tour requests open up 3 months in advance.
- Tours generally must be requested at least 2 months in advance.
- Tours are only available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Starting May 7th, any guest age 18 or over must present a REAL ID or a valid passport to enter the White House complex for a tour.
The following are policies determined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:
- FBI tours open up five months in advance.
- Tours generally must be requested at least 2 months in advance.
- Tours are only available Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The FBI requires our office to submit additional identifying information for each guest to allow the FBI to conduct a background check.
- This information includes social security number, country of origin, citizenship status, etc.
- Our office will reach out shortly after you submit your tour request for this additional information.
