During the tour, Representatives Tran and Cisneros met with Curtiss-Wright staff to discuss how the company is advancing domestic energy production, supporting national security, and strengthening the local economy.

“American innovation makes our country safer and our energy more affordable. I was happy to welcome Rep. Cisneros to CA-45 to tour Curtiss-Wright Nuclear in Brea to hear directly from industry leaders about the importance of supporting American technological innovation. Employing workers across Southern California, Curtiss-Wright serves as a hub for technological innovation in California, across the country, and around the globe. Their expert approach to building groundbreaking technologies provides advanced, efficient energy for consumers,” said Representative Tran. “Rep. Cisneros and I are on the ground talking to workers about how Congress can support American industry, bolster our national security, and lower costs for working families.”

"A key component to national security is domestic energy production, which is why it was a privilege to join Rep. Tran to tour the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear facility and speak to their staff,” said Representative Cisneros. “Now more than ever, it is important to support the American manufacturing of key technologies that keep our country safe. In Congress, I am fully committed to preserving these jobs and guarding against rising costs on products that are vital to our national security.”
