Rep. Tran responded to questions regarding the issues most important to CA-45 families, including the economy, immigration, government transparency and accountability, and the status of vital programs like Social Security and Medicaid. He underscored the everyday consequences of the Trump Administration’s recklessness on the district’s working families and small businesses.

Rep. Tran restated his dedication to fighting for our communities, highlighting his work in Congress to uplift working families, seniors, and veterans. Having grown up on benefits like SNAP and Medi-Cal himself, Rep. Tran understands the gravity of protecting and expanding such programs to ensure that all Americans can access the resources they need.

Congressman Tran also stressed the importance of bipartisanship in the face of political polarization. He discussed his bill, the Protect Veteran Jobs Act, calling for the reinstatement of the thousands of veterans wrongfully terminated by DOGE–and reaffirmed his commitment to working across the aisle to address the problems impacting Americans everywhere.

Rep Tran plans to continue meeting with members of his district and listening to their concerns and priorities in the coming months.
